"What haven’t you done?” the host of a dinner party recently
said to my husband, as she changed the subject quickly to avoid his
answer. Confessing my own thus-far journey would undoubtedly
lead you to the same reaction. I’ve done nothing important or heroic,
as has my husband, yet the array of experiences that my curiosity has
pushed me through seriously blows my mind. In fact, during times of
resultant mental and physical exhaustion, I’ve often described my
burnouts as fuses blowing in my brain. It’s curiosity’s fault. Curiosity
leads me astray as I seek to learn by doing.
Satisfaction and lots of rest, thus far, has brought me back to
where I continue to seek more understanding and knowledge. This Web site is a
place for me to scrapbook, so to speak, the bits and pieces I’ve
absorbed along the way. Alice Walker said that knowledge doesn’t exist unless it’s shared. I agree.
You may find something here you’re looking for: an answer, a missing
piece to your puzzle; how to do something; a new way to live; how to
heal; how to laugh and how to care.
If you're a writer, you may want me to go over your work with you. Check out my Services page.
