Bob spent most of his early life in Connecticut. He received his primary education from the St. John's Boys School in Deep River, Connecticutt and his secondary education, as well as a four year plumbing certificate from the Hartford Trade School. He completed his plumbing apprenticeship in Alaska and Washington, and was initiated into the United Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Seattle Local 32 in 1950. In 1982 he began his own plumbing business, Molnar Contracting. Today he and his wife Jan are retired and living in Otis, Oregon. Bob's dedication to the plumbing trade and his committment "to uphold the health of the nation"* has lead to the creation of this website. He enjoys sharing his knowledge, and helping others. *Motto of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Janice (Jan) Molnar Fitzgerald Jan is this site's webmaster. She writes, gardens, draws, photographs, makes Flash animations, and does whatever else she finds fasinating. After working over 20 years as a carpenter, plumber's helper, and part owner of Molnar Contracting, she now has time to use her English and art education. Visit her.
